According to the State Farm agent switching to the new carrier that competed for her business to save $115 per month on Homeowners Insurance could prove to be the biggest mistake one could make. The Good Neighbor / State Farm Advocate / commissioned employee who isn’t looking at my friend like a paycheck but actually doesn’t want her house to burn down and have her new insurance company to depreciate her house in half and pay $70,000 even though the policy is written for $140,000. Her words “oh sure they will replace your refrigerator and stove but what about your house”? I told her that we would have to take our chances. My friend is plus 70 and this clown was trying to scare her into paying double for homeowners. I wish I had the good sense to record that. I will next time.
